This year’s SUMMER SONIC is already looking like the fastest ticket sold out in history of SUMMER SONIC Tokyo. Tokyo’s 8/20 (Sun.) is also nearing a sellout as well, but we are pleased to announce additional artists, mainly domestic artists, including some opening acts.

Cornelius, who also performed at SONICMANIA last year, will be at this year’s SUMMER SONIC on August 19 (Sat) in Tokyo and 20 (Sun) in Osaka. Also, the world-famous ska legends Tokyo Ska Paradise Orchestra will perform at Osaka SONIC in addition to headlining PACIFIC in Tokyo. In addition, Reol, a singer, songwriter, and music producer who is gaining popularity both in Japan and abroad, will appear at SUMMER SONIC for the first time on Saturday, August 19 in Tokyo.

On 8/19 (Sat.) in Osaka and 8/20 (Sun.) in Tokyo, Johnny’s WEST, a male idol group that has been riding high on the success of its three major dome tours last year with performances brimming with passion, will be performing. In addition, QUEEN BEE led by Avu-chan, who is also known for her anime theme songs, will appear on the stage.
Trilingual rapper/singer Chanmina, who is riding high after selling out the Yokohama Arena in Tokyo on August 20 (Sun.), has been confirmed for the event.

Opening acts include MAZZEL, an 8-member new generation dance and vocal group that will be the second BMSG following BE:FIRST, on 8/19 (Sat) in Tokyo and 8/20 (Sun) in Osaka, and Tota, a teenage singer-songwriter who has been gaining attention on social media, on 8/19 (Sat) in Tokyo, making her debut at SUMMER SONIC. On August 20 (Sun.) in Osaka, chilldspot, whose genreless groove with the band and the voice of the vocalist, Hiyune is well received by the audience.
In addition to Shiyui, a rising star singer with high singing ability, expressive voice, and rich husky voice, Furui Riho, who has been writing lyrics, composing, and arranging music since her childhood with her gospel choir roots and carefully detailed lyrics and grooves, and Absolute area, 3 piece band that has gained tremendous support from the same generation with the greatest appeal of the lyrics and singing voice of the Vo.Ryoya Yamaguchi, will perform in Tokyo on August 20 (Sun.). And LANA, a singer who is based on HIPHOP / R&B but attracts attention with her genre-less melodic sense and husky voice, will perform at MASSIVE on 8/19 (Sat.).

“Spotify RADAR: Early Noise Stage“, a special stage that embodies the world of Spotify’s playlist brand “RADAR: Early Noise,” will appear for the first time in this year’s SUMMER SONIC Tokyo. The lineup includes Spotify’s upcoming artists, including Harunemuri, chilldspot, Skaai (yonawo x Mamiko Suzuki x Skaai), Daichi Yamamoto, Bialystocks, DURDN, CHAI, LANA, tonun, and ao, as well as ATARASHII GAKKO! and imase, who are currently creating viral hits on Spotify and taking the world by storm, will gather for a special stage.
