With just over a month to go until the show date, this year’s SUMMER SONIC, already the quickest selling out event in its history, has announced additional artists for Tokyo and Osaka.

Fear, and Loathing in Las Vegas, who continue to evolve with their overwhelming live performances, will perform at the MOUNTAIN STAGE in Osaka on August 19 (Sat)!
In addition, the opening act for the SONIC STAGE on the same day will be Awkmiu, whose solid sound is created by the overlapping colors of each member, and the opening act for the Osaka SONIC STAGE on August 20 (Sun.) will be the much talked about two-piece music unit Numba, consisting of composer “Tsumiki” and vocalist “Maria Miki”. NOMELON NOLEMON, a popular 2-member music unit consisting of composer “Tsumiki” and vocalist “Miki Maria,” will open the Osaka Sonic Stage on August 20.
SLOWTHAI, who was scheduled to perform at Tokyo SONIC STAGE on 8/19 (Sat.), has cancelled his appearance due to artist’s reasons. SHYGIRL will perform in his slot.

The next audition will be a stepping stone to overseas expansion, and the artists who make it through to the final round will be eligible to perform at SUMMER SONIC! Can you make it? SUMMER SONIC!
